Chattanooga Christmas Bucket List

Christmas In Chattanooga

Next up on the city specific Christmas Bucket List  is Chattanooga. I talked a little bit about why Chattanooga is special to me in my post about underrated cities in America. Chattanooga is absolutely a city you don’t want to sleep on with it’s small town feel while being the 4th largest city by population in Tennessee.

Watch the Lighted Boat Parade

The Lighted Boat Parade is by far the best way to kick off the Christmas Season. If you’ve never been to a boat parade make sure you choose this one to be the first boat parade in your life! Click Here to watch the Youtube video from this years parade.

Check out the Trail of Lights

By now y’all know I am all about some Christmas lights. Chattanooga has a curated go at your own pace trail of lights to check out each holiday season including

Visit the Holiday Market

Find some handmade Christmas gifts from local artisans at the Chattanooga Holiday market the first 3 weekends in December.

Attend an Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl or Christmas Pub Crawl

I am personally attending the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl and I have a pretty spectacular DIY ugly sweater. Watch me make it here.

Go to the traveling production of Cirque Dreams

I have never been to a Cirque Du Soleil show but I’ve wanted to for a very long time. I’m excited to go to this one and can not wait to share the review of it with y’all.

Enter the North Shore Holiday Window Treasure Hunt

I love the North Shore of Chattanooga and awesomely decorated Christmas windows. So this treasure hunt of 30ish windows is absolutely one of my favorite things on this Christmas Bucket list.

Take a Gingerbread House Class

I’ve never been able to make a gingerbread house that didn’t fall apart. So I’m super excited to check out the Sweet and Savory classrooms gingerbread house class and will hopefully be sharing that with y’all on YouTube as well.

Visit the Courtney Christmas Tree Farm

There is just something about Christmas Tree farms that put you in the Christmas spirit. While I want to tell you I didn’t pick this specific one because of the name, that would be a lie. I did however look into them and they seem to have more going on for them than just the best name ever.

Make a Wreath with Bees on a Bicycle

I love DIY, craft stuff, and Christmas so of course the diy wreath making bar made my list of awesome Christmas things to do in Chattanooga.

Attend the Broad Street Holiday Hop

Christmas Festivals in Chattanooga? Yes. please!

Watch a Christmas Parade

You can’t celebrate Christmas with out at least one parade. There are so many in the surrounding area I can’t pick just one for the list.

Watch a touring production of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer

Shows are always fun, and since I am planning on Nashville for the Nutcracker I wanted to pick an extra show in Chattanooga this season as well. I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Musicals but I’m excited to see one of my favorite childhood Christmas movies come to life on stage in front of me.
