Leslie Jordan

I can not begin to describe how much I love Leslie Jordan. He’s the only person on this list that I have met in person and is just as sweet and funny in real life as he seems on his Instagram. If you are lucky enough to have met him, you know what I mean.

Samuel L Jackson

Thats right mother fuckers the ultimate narrator for life is from right here in Chattanooga. There are lots of rumors surrounding why Samuel L Jackson cusses and my personal favorite (I have no idea how true it is) is that he used to stutter and was able to keep the stutter under control when he cussed.

Kane Brown

One of my favorite Country singers, I couldn’t skip Kane Brown on this list. Earlier this year he preformed a concert at Finley Stadium and it was really cool to be able to see how much he appreciated his hometown in the way he talked during the concert and the way he and his wife hid tickets around town for people to find. It’s pretty safe to say he has made his hometown proud. See what I did there?

Reggie White

Two time Defensive Play of the Year, and one of the most awarded defensive players in NFL history former Packer Reggie White called Chattanooga home during his life. I may or may not have picked him for this list because his jersey was my very first NFL jersey. Seriously though, the man could play some football and any city would be proud to be called his hometown. To bad for all the other cities because Chattanooga gets that honor.

Usher

I really didn’t want to include Usher on this list since he likes to tell everyone that he’s from Atlanta. Umm, if you think you’re too cool for Chattanooga whatever we didn’t want to claim you anyway. Did you see the other people on this list Usher? You are lucky to be from the same town but go ahead and lie about where your from. I’ll still jam out to your songs when they come up on my 90s playlist- but I will share my opinions about you to anyone who asks. And most people that don’t.
