Nashville Christmas Bucket List

Yesterday I told y’all about my Christmas Bucket List and mentioned that I have some city specific lists as well. First up is Nashville, one of Tennessees most well known tourist spots. While I do promote being a traveler not a tourist that doesn’t mean leaving out major tourist destinations. And Nashville is one of my favorite cities in America so why not start there?

Christmas at Opryland

You can’t talk about Christmas in Tennessee with out mentioning Christmas at Opryland. This year is their 38th annual A Country Christmas Event. This year also has Mission: Save Christmas. Featuring Elf.

Nashville Nutcracker

I started seeing the Nutcracker at Christmas time when I was 8. My Grandma took me on a girl day and I’ve loved seeing the Nutcracker ever since. My favorite are the unique takes on the original ballet. This version of the Nutcracker is set in Nashville in 1897 and weaves in the cities historic landmarks and characters.

Holiday Pop Up Bars

Thanks to the Nashville Guru I found some of the coolest holiday pop up bars around Nashville. If you stop by the Miracle bar I highly recommend not getting the SanTaRex. Yes the cup it comes in is cool af, but it tastes like medicine. Just don’t do it.

Cannsburgh Village

Ok, so this isn’t exactly in Nashville but it’s worth the drive. Friday – Sunday from December 3rd – 19th Cannsburgh Village hosts some of the prettiest drive through Christmas lights you’ll see this season.

Dancing Lights of Christmas

Tennessees largest drive through lights and music show is open from November 12th – January 2nd.

Cheekwood Estate Lights

With over a million lights and open 7 nights a week, Cheekwood Estates is bound to be a beautiful Christmas display you’ll want to add to your Christmas traditions for years to come.

Dickens of a Christmas

For the 36th year in a row Franklin hosts Middle Tennessees largest outdoor Christmas festival December 11th & 12th. Going back to the time of Charles Dickens this festival is sure to put you in the Christmas Spirit.

Redneck Comedy Music City Christmas Light Ride

Do I really need to tell you why you need to add this to your Nashville Christmas Bucket List? You know you need to go. Don’t even question it.

What other Christmas things do you make sure to do in Nashville?
