In true Coie form I got frustrated as I drove around trying to find a parking spot to check out Be Caffeinated North Shore. After walking inside, ordering my hazelnut bliss latte and finding a seat on the patio I realized there was a giant parking garage right behind the coffee shop. Yeah, I know. Don’t be like me.

First Impressions

When first walking in Be Caffeinated it felt a little awkward. Almost like I was walking into an area for employees only. Obviously I wasn’t as you can see the menu and counter is set up to be ordered at. As a coffee shop that started out as drive thru only at a different location I think that awkward feeling was actually me just picking up on their drive through atmosphere they absolutely own.

The industrial look isn’t my favorite style but Be Caffeinated pulls it off with the giant coffee grinder inside and the hipster metal seating.

The Coffee

I ordered the Hazelnut Bliss latte and it was pretty yummy. I would use fancy coffee snob words to describe it but I’m not fancy or a coffee snob. So pretty yummy is the best you’re gonna get from me.

I’m not sure why, but I absolutely love the fact their coffee cups are black. It sets them apart from other coffee shops and fits in with their industrial look.

Final Thoughts

Based on this experience alone I sort of felt like the people at Be Caffeinated want you to order your coffee and go away. Again I think thats just the original drive through only experience.
